The Year One ATS Electrical Apprentice Course is an online, interactive course that fulfills the state-required 150 hours of course study required by the states of NH, VT, ME, and WY. In this course you will study Electrical and Construction Safety, Construction Math, Digital Multimeter Principles, Basic Electrical Theory and Electrical Print Reading.

The ATS Year Two Electrical Course is an online, interactive course that fulfills the state-required 150 hours of course study required by the states of NH, VT, ME, & WY. In this course you will study Electrical and Construction Safety, Residential and Smart Home Technologies, and the National Electric Code (current edition).

The Year Three ATS Electrical Apprentice Course is an online, interactive course that fulfills the state-required 150 hours of course study required by the states of NH, VT, ME, and WY. In this course you will study Electrical and Construction Safety, Principles of Grounding, Electrical Power Quality, Transformer Principles, Electric Motor Principles and Motor Controls.

In this course you will study Electrical Safety, Solid State Devices and Systems, Leadership Skills for Construction Field Leaders, Electrical Estimating, Exam Prep Based on the current National Electrical Code and Journeyman Electrician Practice Exams based on the current National Electrical Code.

The ATS course, Grounding & Bonding: Essentials to Keep You Current, will take you through the textbook: Soares Grounding & Bonding Fundamentals, published by the IAEI. Through this course, you will deepen your knowledge of the following topics: The Language of Grounding and Bonding, General Fundamentals, To Ground or Not to Ground the System, Grounding Electrical Systems, Clearing Ground Faults and Short Circuits, and Ground-Fault Protection. 

The ATS course, Leading the Way: Leadership Skills for the Construction Industry, will take you through the textbook: Effective Leadership Skills for Construction Field Leaders, Second Editionby Jason C. McCarty. You will learn skills that will help you to secure and sustain your role as a leader in the construction field through the following topics: The Contracting Business, Leadership Qualities, Effective Communication, Planning and Organizing, Project Coordination, and Jobsite Interactions.

ATS Blueprint Reading is a 45-hour course approved by the State of Maine and built around ATP's Printreading for Installing and Troubleshooting Electrical Systems. This course covers: Print Reading Fundamentals; Residential and Commercial Electrical Symbols; Industrial Electrical and Electronic Symbols; Electrical Drawings and Plans; Electrical and Electronic Diagrams; Construction and Maintenance; Residential and Commercial Power and Lighting Systems; VDV Systems; Fire Alarm and Security Systems; HVAC Systems; Industrial Control Systems; Industrial Power Systems; Wiring Methods; Fluid Power Systems; and Process in Instrumentation Systems.

ATS Electricity I is a 45-hour course approved by the State of Maine and built around Mike Holt’s Illustrated Guide to Understanding Electrical Theory for NEC Applications. This course covers basics of matter and the origin of modern electricity, how electricity is made, circuit types, electrical formulas and basic electrical math, magnetism and electromagnetism, practical applications of electricity, motors, generators, and transformers, grounding and bonding, and electrical safety. 

ATS Electricity II is a 45-hour course approved by the State of Maine and built around ATP's Power Quality Measurement and Troubleshooting. This course covers: Production and Usage of Electricity, Voltage and Current Measurements, Power Characteristics, Power Quality Problems, Power Measurements, Effects of Poor Power Quality, Power Transmission and Distribution, Building Distribution Systems, and Power Conditioning and Protection.

ATS Controls I is a 45-hour course approved by the State of Maine and built around ATP's Residential Wiring and Smart Home Technology. This course covers: Power Generation, Distribution, and Smart Grid Systems; Electrical Quantities, Voltage Sources, and Generators; Service Entrances and Smart Meter Installation; Electrical Grounding and Overcurrent Protection; Electrical Safety, Tools, and Test Instruments; Electrical Prints and Diagrams; Electrical Connections; Nonmetallic-Sheathed Cable; Metallic-Sheathed Cable; Conduit; Receptacles; Switches and Branch Circuit Installation; Smart Home Infrastructure; Security Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Home Energy Management and Smart Home Applications; and Lifestyle Applications of the Smart Home.
